Lightwood dragonflies and damselflies

Reed bunting
We have been really fortunate to have had reed buntings in our garden for the past few weeks. We have counted at least three males altogether recently, but when there was snow on the ground there was only one.

Kingfisher eating fish
This is a film of the kingfisher down at Via Gellia Mill near Cromford. These are the best views I have ever had of it and it was so close to the window.
